BESS’s combination of pop, electro, and house became known to the public in Finland as she participated in the national Eurovision Song Contest qualification with Ram pam pam – a tune that has since streamed double platinum and made Finnish airplay history as the most played song on radio for 19 consecutive weeks. No wonder a recent study on Finnish listening habits revealed BESS as the most recognised and appreciated new artist in Finland in 2022.
