Qstock Sold Out for 10th Consecutive Time
Celebrating its 20-year anniversary, the Qstock music festival in Oulu, Finland, has been sold out for the tenth consecutive time. Qstock takes place on the last weekend of July, and he headliners this year are US metal giant Megadeth and Ellie Goulding, one of the brightest British popstars. More than 70 acts will appear on a record-breaking seven different festival stages.
In previous summers, Qstock has gathered 40 000 festival guests over two days. This year, the festival stretches partly over three days, for the Oulu2026 stage will showcase local talents already on Thursday 27 July. The stage has been moved to Linnansaari island, and entrance there is free of charge throughout the event.
One of this year’s novelties at Qstock is the Red Bull Summer Vibes zone in Raatti, featuring mainly DJ-oriented music over the weekend. The festival has also invested more in its side programme with a variety of performing artists appearing around the festival venue.
“This year we celebrate round numbers also when it comes to sold-out Qstock festivals. The demand for tickets on our anniversary year has exceeded all previous festivals, and this is the first time we have sold them out before Midsummer. We wish to extend our deepest gratitude to all Qstock customers over the entire course of our existence. See you again at the end of July!” says Mikko Forstén, the Festival Director of Qstock.
The exchange of Qstock’s advance tickets into wristbands begins on the week of the festival. The locations and timetables for the wristband exchange as well as wristband benefits will be announced later on the festival website and social media channels.
