Ultra Bra to play at Qstock!
Ultra Bra, the iconic Finnish group that recently released new music after a break of more than 20 years, is booked as the headlining act at Qstock in Oulu next summer.
The band’s best-known hits include Sinä lähdit pois, Minä suojelen sinua kaikelta, Tyttöjen välisestä ystävyydestä and Savanni nukahtaa, all of which have combined social discourse and popular music in a unique way. This autumn’s new songs are Aarre, lyrics by Samuli Putro, and Toivo, by Ronja Salmi, both composed by Ultra Bra’s Kerkko Koskinen as before.
After calling it quits at the top in 2001, Ultra Bra has only performed a few times, including three sold-out arena concerts in 2017. For next year’s reactivation, the band will only be seen at Qstock, Pori Jazz, Ruisrock, and for two nights at the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki.
“This is wonderful news for the middle of autumn. We warmly welcome Ultra Bra to the north after a break of more than 20 years. This will be a memorable show in the darkening summer night of Oulu. We will announce more performer bookings later in the year,” says Festival Director Mikko Forstén.
Ticket sales for Qstock will start on Wednesday 23 October at 9 a.m. Unlike previous years, all ticket types will go on sale at once. A limited number of S Group’s co-op member discount tickets will be available through the Arina Partner Benefits page.
Qstock will be held in the Kuusisaari and Raatti area of Oulu on 25–26 July 2025. Qstock has been sold out for eleven consecutive times, and it has established itself as one of the biggest festivals in Finland, attracting 40 000 people over two days.
