Ege Zulu, who spreads positive energy around him, has been described as the messenger of Finnish Afrotrap. His versatile sound is particularly influenced by French music, the “Marseille sound,” which he skilfully blends with shades of Afropop and hip hop. The Congolese-born artist draws inspiration for his lyrics from suburban life and its injustices, among other things.
