Huiputus, who released their album Mieletön in May, is a rock band from Oulu formed in 2023, whose music reflects a sincere love for nature and the low frequencies of amplifiers.
The four-piece band has been actively touring between Saariselkä and Helsinki while frequently releasing new music. The band has appeared on Radio Kaleva, which followed the making of their latest album in a studio diary format throughout the spring. The DIY-spirited band organised Huiputusfest for the second time at Kulttuurilaboratorio early last summer and has also become familiar to many through streaming service playlists.
