DJ lineup announced for Club Battery!
Club Battery, which focuses on various subgenres of electronic music, has established itself as a staple at Qstock.
On Friday, the Club Battery stage will be taken over by producer/DJ Junkkataxi, who has become a phenomenon with his drum and bass remixes, and internationally renowned veteran DJ Riku Pentti, who will combine his artist names Rico Tubbs and Infekto into a joint set.
Saturday features British producer/DJ 1991, one of the leading names in the new wave of drum and bass, who has gained fame both for hits like “Full Send” and “Chant” and for his explosive live performances at major festivals from Tomorrowland to EDC Las Vegas.
Also taking the stage on Saturday is Yeboyah, who has captivated audiences with her energetic DJ sets focused on hip-hop, R&B, and Afrobeat.
Bringing a local flavour to the weekend are the three-woman collective silly4eva, the African-oriented DJ NiceRice, and Oulu natives Pepe Alex, Hellänelli, and Brawz Maximum.
“This summer’s Club Battery lineup is a mix of red-hot local acts and world-class DJ stars. The musical offerings are diverse. Over the weekend, the stage will feature everything from house to techno and Afrobeat to drum and bass. It’s sure to be an energetic, feel-good party,” says Club Battery promoter Antti Kitkala.
As usual, Club Battery will be located behind the NMKY building in Raatti. Due to alcohol service, the DJ area is restricted to those 18 and older.
