KAJ will heat up the sauna at Qstock, too!

The Vöyri-based humour techno band KAJ has been making a name for itself among the Finnish-Swedes for a long time, but now the band has risen to the general public’s attention after winning the Swedish Melodifestivalen with a record-breaking tsunami of audience votes. This means that the trio of Kevin Holmström, Axel Åhman and Jakob Norrgård will represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest with their song Bara Bada Bastu, which has reached the top of the Spotify Top 50 charts in both Finland and Sweden.

KAJ was formed in Vöyri in 2009 and is known for its humorous songs performed in the Vöyri dialect. Over the years, the band has released seven albums, written and performed two musicals and sold out three arena shows. Now, the Eurovision hype is boosting KAJ’s popularity even further, and the band has climbed to the top of the betting charts ahead of May’s final.

Qstock audiences will get to witness KAJ’s energy live when the band takes to the Qstock stage on the festival’s Friday.
