Prog giants The Pineapple Thief and Soen to play Qstock

One of the most important progressive rock bands of the millennium, English band The Pineapple Thief will play their only gig of the summer at Qstock in Oulu. The band, formed in 1999, released their 15th studio album It Leads To This last year, topping the UK rock and metal charts and receiving acclaim elsewhere in Europe.

Another recent addition to the Qstock artist line-up is Swedish progressive metal act Soen, who have gained a reputation for their unique style. The show is the band’s only one in Finland this year.

Also confirmed to come to Oulu are rising British metal stars Graphic Nature, metal juggernaut Ensiferum, who recently released one of the strongest albums of their career, and rap group Good Boys, known for their energetic shows. Other recent additions include Senya, Mary Ann Hawkins, Beyond Awareness, and ELLIMEI

In total, Qstock will see and hear around 70 artists. Final programme additions and stage-specific performance schedules will be announced in May. Headliners include Norwegian electronic music DJ/producer Alan Walker and Ultra Bra, who will reactivate for five shows in the summer.
