Thank you, 40,000 times! – Sold-out Qstock wraps up successfully

Qstock 2026 was celebrated in exceptionally changeable weather conditions. Although both festival days saw occasional rain showers, the weather did little to dampen the spirits of festivalgoers. The event arrangements ran smoothly throughout the weekend.

The Oulu Police described Qstock as an exceptionally peaceful event.

“The number of public order incidents inside the festival area was negligible considering the attendance. That is largely due to the thorough planning that goes into the event. Good plans are not only made but also effectively implemented in practice,” says Senior Constable Heikki Viittala.

“Qstock has maintained excellent cooperation with the police for many years. Together, we have worked to make the event as safe as possible, and I believe we have succeeded. Every year, small improvements are made to further enhance safety.”

Qstock sold out for the thirteenth consecutive year. A total of 40,000 visitors attended the festival over the course of two days.

Among the performers were American DJ Marshmello, who brought his massive show to Oulu, British pop superstar Rita Ora, Ellinoora, who took the stage alongside the Lahti Symphony Orchestra, and Behm, who performed one of only three festival shows she is playing this summer.

Qstock will return to Oulu on 30–31 July 2027.
