Cloakroom

Opening hours

Fri 25 July 11.30 a.m. – 01.30 a.m.

Sat 26 July 10.30 a.m. – 01.30 a.m.

Cloakroom is located in Linnansaari before the festival’s main gates. Before arriving at this point it is advisable to check the security instructions for what is allowed inside the festival area and what is not. You will find allowed and forbidden items here.

The cloakroom fee is 5 € upon first entry and 5 € for every visit.

Wristbands

You can enter the festival area with a Qstock wristband. You can leave and re-enter the area during the same day wearing your unbroken wristband. You can exchange your ticket for Friday, Saturday or both days for a wristband in advance during the Qstock week starting on Monday 21–26 July at several exchange locations in Oulu city centre. All ticket types can be exchanged for wristbands also at our wristband tent next to the festival’s main entrance gate.

The exchange location for one- or two-day VIP tickets is at Restaurant Amarillo. VIP tickets will also be exchanged for a pass and wristband at the festival area check-in desk at Raatti. You can avoid unnecessary queuing at the festival area by exchanging your ticket in advance. The Wristband Info page will be published at the beginning of July.

VIP Gate and Guest check-in

Besides the main gates, our VIP customers have a special entrance. You can find this entrance by arriving via the south end (city end) of Raatti Swimming Pool. Our VIP customers also have a cloakroom of their own next to the check-in point leading to the VIP area, based in Raatti Swimming Pool second floor. Please note the age limit for this area is 18.

Guest check-in

The guest check-in is for the convenience of registered festival guests plus media and music industry representatives. You can collect your access pass or wristband by presenting an identification card. This year you can access the check-in through the city end of Raatti Swimming Pool, second floor. Please observe the signs for the correct route

Info desk and VIP info desck

Info desk is located inside the festival area, right after the security check at Kuusisaari. Here you can get information on everything concerning the festival: schedules, local transport, lost & found, etc. If you get caught in the rain or your ears hurt, you can purchase disposable raincoats or earplugs here. The info desk also sells drink vouchers and you can buy portable power banks at the info points for €10. There is also VIP info for VIP customers at Raati VIP area.

Accessibility

Wheelchair platforms

There are wheelchair platforms next to the engineering towers at the Main Stage, Samsung Stage, Circus Tent and Rytmiranta Beach Stage. We have posted guiding signs to show you the correct route. There are many paved passageways in the area to facilitate moving from place to place.

Toilet Card

We acknowledge the IBD Toilet Card (Vessapassi in Finnish). The purpose of the card is to give people with intestinal disorders the opportunity to access the nearest toilet immediately. An IBD / Vessapassi sticker on the toilet door is a sign to other toilet users that a person with the card has an illness that requires rapid toilet use and therefore also the right to pass the queue.

Bar areas (Age limit 18)

Serving Areas and Drink Deposit Info

Inside the festival area, there are many separate Qstock bar areas: in the field between the Main Stage and the Kooma Stage, in the field between the Rytmiranta Beach Stage and the Samsung Stage, and inside the Circus Tent. Each stage area has its own licensed serving area. Club Battery is entirely a licensed area, meaning access is restricted to those aged 18 and over. There is also a licensed serving area in Linnansaari — bringing and consuming your own alcoholic beverages there is strictly prohibited.

Please note that the festival prefers card and mobile payments — cash is not accepted at any serving areas.

Drink Deposit

Buying alcoholic beverages in the bar areas works on a deposit basis. A €1 deposit will be added to the price of each alcoholic drink. You can claim the deposit back by returning your empty can or glass bottle to the bar counter or a designated return point. You may also choose to exchange your empty for a new drink — in this case, the deposit will be deducted from the next purchase.

You can return a maximum of 10 items at a time. The deposit will be refunded to your card within a few banking days, or you can exchange it at the return point for a bag of Taffel chips.

Note: there is no deposit added to water or soft drink purchases.

Raincoats and earplugs are also available for purchase at the bar areas.

Payment methods

Please note that the festival accepts cards and mobile payments, cash is not accepted in the drinking areas, info desk or cloakroom. In Qstock’s drinking areas, the deposit for drinks will be returned directly to the debit card, which takes about two business days for the deposit to be returned.

Phone charging spot

You can buy your very own portable power bank at the Qstock Info Point or VIP Info for just €10!

Lost & Found

Lost & found items and things left in the cloakroom will be kept at the festival area until 1.30 a.m. Saturday night, after which they can be collected at lost & found service Löytötavaratoimisto in Oulu at Isokatu 26, 90100 Oulu, tel. +358 600 550 094 (2€/min + local network charge).

If you leave things behind in the cloakroom on Friday, you can still ask for them there on Saturday. You can also consult the information desk for other items misplaced inside the festival area until they are transferred to Löytötavaratoimisto after Saturday night. All remaining lost items will be gathered in the area on Sunday and delivered to the lost & found company on Monday afternoon at the latest.

The lost & found company charges a fee for holding lost items, so please remember to collect your belongings at the cloakroom before leaving the area!

Lost & found opening hours:

Mon–Fri 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. | Sat 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Earplugs

If you need ear protection in the form of earplugs, you can purchase them at the bar counters in the bar area, at the info desk, VIP info, Qstock merchandise or at the K-Supermarket Ritaharju sales point within the area.

Smoking

In the festival area’s bar areas, there are designated smoking zones. Smoking is only allowed in these zones, so let’s keep the smoking area clean and dispose of cigarette butts in the ashtrays.

On the festival grounds, smoking products are sold exclusively at the K-Supermarket Ritaharju sales point.

Nicotine pouches are available at the Kuusisaari licensed area from British American Tobacco and at the Circus Tent licensed area from Philip Morris.

Safer space | Harassment liaison

Qstock offers the services of a harassment liaison in case of possible harassment situations. If necessary, you can approach the harassment liaison only to submit a harassment report. In the future, our event security can be developed to meet audience needs even better based on possible reports. Harassment reports can be submitted by event staff members, festival guests, or even artists. If you wish, you can also receive assistance by discussion as well as counselling for negotiating any difficult situations that may arise.

The goal is to offer a space that is as secure as possible for our event guests, employees, and artists. The event staff are instructed with appropriate operating methods in case of harassment incidents, but we all have the responsibility for our own behaviour. We can make a difference with our own actions and attitudes, and build a more equal, mutually respectful, and open, dialogical atmosphere around us. At Qstock, everyone has the right to feel secure without fear of any kind of discrimination or harassment of sexual or verbal nature. We are all entitled to physical and mental integrity!
