Photography and video recording within the festival area
Unauthorised recording of live performances within the festival area is prohibited (Copyright Act, paragraphs 2 and 45). Bringing video cameras and recorders to the festival area is prohibited under artist agreements. If necessary, the security officers have the right to confiscate any unauthorised recording equipment and recordings. Filming with professional equipment without permission from the performing artist’s representative is not allowed at Qstock. Let’s live in the moment – put the cameras away and keep the feeling.
However, regular pocket-size cameras, SLR cameras and cell phones are permissible equipment for immortalising your festival memories. Do not bring additional flash or camera tripod with your SLR camera. And you can only bring one camera lens which is attached to the SLR camera.
Still photos are taken and video material is recorded within the festival area for marketing purposes, social media and the festival’s website. By attending the event, you accept the possibility of your picture being shown in the above mentioned media.
