Dear media representative, welcome to Qstock! 

On this page, you will wind information about arriving at the festival and about our check-in desk where you can claim your MEDIA pass by providing your press card or ID. 

Check-in opening hours:

Amarillo Oulu: Kirkkokatu 15, 90100 Oulu 

  • Tue 21 July noon – 6 p.m. 
  • Wed 22 July noon – 6 p.m. 
  • Thursday 23 July noon – 6 p.m. 

Festival area, Raatti second floor Raatintie 2, 90100 Oulu 

  • Fri 24 July 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.
    Sat 25 July 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Media centre opening hours: 

  • Fri 24 July 12 am – 9 p.m. 
  • Sat 25 July 11 am – 8 p.m. 

     

    N.B. The media centre will close 15 minutes after the final main stage act of the evening has finished. Remember to pick up your belongings in time! 

    Arriving at the festival 

    Qstock is an environmentally friendly festival, and therefore the festival area is not accessible by car. You can get to the festival via Tuira bridges by using public transport or through Linnansaari Island by foot. A bike is the most convenient option for getting to the festival, you can leave your bike at bike parking zone in Linnansaari.

    MEDIA CENTRE

    Media representatives have access to the media centre. This year, the media centre is located along the VIP corridor on the second floor of Raatin Stadium. Signage will guide you to the location.

    The media centre provides wireless internet access and light refreshments. You may also leave your equipment and other belongings in the centre, at your own risk.

    Please note that the media centre will close 15 minutes after the last performance on the main stage has ended. Remember to collect your belongings in time.

     

    MEDIA PASS

    With a media pass, media representatives are permitted to photograph in front of the stages during the first three songs, unless otherwise agreed with the artist. Filming within the festival area requires a separate filming permit. All filming arrangements must be agreed in advance with Media Coordinator Anssi Juntto.

    Journalists are encouraged to arrange any artist interviews in advance before the festival. If assistance with interviews is needed during the festival, Anssi will help when possible.

    If you have any unpublished coverage from last summer’s Qstock, you may also send it to Anssi.

    The media pass also grants access to the VIP area.
