Formed in Harjavalta, Finland in 1992, Maj Karma are a true cornerstone of heavy Finnish rock music. The group have now decided to end their career in a farewell tour of six cities. Maj Karma’s final Oulu show will take place at Qstock. Early in their career, Maj Karma gained fame with their intense shows and melancholy material. Released in 2006, the album Ukkonen rocketed to #1 on the official national charts and fixed Maj Karma’s status as a major Finnish rock group for good. The farewell tour will feature the band’s longest-standing lineup, including Herra Ylppö (vocals), Häiriö Piirinen (guitar), J. Savolainen (drums), and Kimmo Kurittu (bass).
