Pioneers of surf guitar metal known for their melancholic lyrics, Viikate are currently celebrating their 30th anniversary. Over the course of three decades, the Kouvola-based band, which has forged a path of its own, has played over 700 shows and released 15 studio albums, which have yielded six gold records.
