Havukruunu, a group with their own brand of dark-toned pagan metal, has been an international underground favourite in small circles for years. With the release of their fourth full-length album last year, however, the band from Hausjärvi has begun to reach an ever-wider audience. The critically acclaimed Tavastland was awarded Metal Album of the Year at the Emma Gala in March.
